11 folded leaves printed on both sides making 22 pages including front and rear covers. Color woodblock prints on crepe paper. 7¾x10½, string bound.

A very scarce crepe paper book with scenes of Europeans in various roles: The Merchant at Yokohama, The Journalist at Kobe, The Painter at Miyajima, The Captain at Shimabara, etc.

Condition:

Light wear at edges; else near fine.
