169 pp. Illustrated by Edmund Dulac, including 8 tipped-in color plates with printed tissue-guards. 7¾x6, light mauve cloth, gilt vignette to cover and spine, lettered in gilt, pictorial dust jacket. First Dulac Illustrated Edition.

Collection of children fairy stories, including The Bird of Shadows and the Sun-Bird, The Adventurous Life of an Acorn-Fairy, The Sea-Fairy and the Land-Fairy, etc. Scarce in jacket.

Condition:

Jacket edge worn and with chips and short tears, dampstain to jacket at foot of spine and spine edge of rear panel with resulting bleed from cloth; dampstain to cloth at foot of rear cover and spine, light edge wear; else very good.
