Jack London's most famous book, in the original first edition dust jacket. The book itself is a later printing, the same year, imprint, and collation as the first printing, but in BAL's pebbled "A" cloth, rather than the vertically ribbed "T" cloth of the first printing. In addition, it is evident that later printing statement(s) on the copyright page have been very neatly erased/scraped off, so that only the "published July, 1903" statement remains.
Condition:
Some rubbing to joints and extremities of the volume, slight rubbing to white on cover and spine, title-page darkened from tissue guard; near fine in a very good jacket with spine rubbed, ends & corners chipped, split through along front joint.
