29 volumes (of 40). Profusely illustrated with hand-colored steel engravings. 6¾x4, red cloth.

An incomplete set of Jardine's marvelously illustrated work on natural history. There are 11 volumes of Mammalia; 9 volumes of Ornithology; 6 volumes of Entomology; 2 volumes of Icthyology, and the Natural History of the Human Species by Chas. Hamilton Smith.

Condition:

Bindings poor; color plates mostly very good. Offered as a collection of plates, not subject to return.
