Description:

Pewter trophy in the form of a beer stein with hinged lid and ball feet. Approximately 11½" tall.

With laurel leaves extending from tops of handle, crossed golf clubs and ball applied on one side. Engraved in four lines: "Cape May Golf Club. Special Bogey Tournament, August 9th, 1899. First Prize". Manufactured by Manning, Bowman & Co.

Condition:

Lid a bit loose, bottom dented and feet no longer squarely placed, a few small dents, some tarnishing; very good. MR
