"One volume, only, was published which consists of monographs of the Bucerotidae and the Cotingidae, with 49 of the proposed 240 plates" - Zimmer. "These plates were printed by Langlois, who did almost all the colour-printing for Levaillant... French colour-printing of this period... has never been surpassed" (Fine Bird Books).
