Manuscript leaf on vellum, 26 lines plus headline, in two columns, with ornate initial in colors and liquid gold. 47x33.5 cm. (18¾x13¼").

VERY RARE leaf from a Monumental Bible. Monumental Bibles were used for pulpit purposes and made in vastly fewer copies than the smaller Bibles made for personal use. Bibles of this size are of the utmost rarity on the market; the present leaf is superbly executed.

Condition:

A little soiling and light creases, very good.
